Overview
This release adds guided user tours, Mattermost direct messaging, and activity logs to P1LM.
These features provide additional guidance for navigating P1LM, improve communication between team members, and give team administrators greater visibility into team activity.
New features
1. Guided user tours
Users can now access guided tours on most P1LM pages. The tours provide information about page features, navigation, and common operations.
How to use it
- Open a page in P1LM that supports a user tour.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to review the available features and actions.
- To restart a tour, open the hamburger menu and select Restart Tour.
TIP
Users can restart a tour at any time.
2. Mattermost direct messaging
Users can now send a Mattermost direct message from the Teams table.
When viewing a user in the Teams table, select the DM link next to the user's username. P1LM lets you open Mattermost in either a web browser or the desktop application.
The available options are based on the ILs associated with the selected user.
How to use it
- Open the Teams page.
- Locate the user in the Teams table.
- Select the DM link next to the user's username.
- Select the Mattermost option you want to use.
3. Team activity log
Users can now view team activity in a table on the Teams and Admin pages.
The Activity Log displays actions performed on the team and allows users to search activity by user or action. This allows team administrators to identify who performed specific actions on a team.
How to use it
- Open the Teams or Admin page.
- Locate the Activity Log table.
- Use the available search options to filter activity by user or action.
Customer impact
No changes to existing workflows or configuration are required to use these features.
