If you're new to Party Bus, we recommend reviewing these resources:

Who Is This Documentation For?

This documentation is intended for:

• Application teams onboarding to Party Bus.
• Development teams deploying and operating applications.
• Platform operators and administrators.
• Government leads supporting Party Bus applications.

What Success Looks Like

A successful Party Bus onboarding results in your application being securely deployed, authorized, and operating in production with minimal operational overhead. Most onboarding effort is spent preparing applications to meet security and platform requirements. We strongly recommend using Party Bus Test Drive early in development to identify and resolve issues before formal onboarding.

Roles and Responsibilities

Party Bus is built on a shared responsibility model. The RACI chart below identifies the responsibilities of your team and the Party Bus team, clarifies ownership of key tasks, and illustrates where other P1 teams are involved.

Our Team

The Party Bus Value Stream consists of several specialized teams that work together to deliver and support the platform. The table below summarizes each team's primary responsibilities.

Team	Primary Responsibility
MDO	Assists application teams with onboarding, pipelines, deployments, and environment support.
CAT	Manages the CtF process, cybersecurity compliance, BoE reviews, and AO coordination.
Operations	Operates and maintains the Party Bus platform and its core services, including CollabTools.
CollabTools	Develops, supports, and enhances the Party Bus collaboration tool suite.
Bullhorn	Builds internal software, prototypes new capabilities, and serves as the platform's internal customer team.
Leadership	Provides strategic direction, technical roadmaps, and organizational leadership.
Acquisitions	Manages contracts, software licensing, customer funding, and vendor relationships.

Party Bus is part of the broader P1 organization. The diagram below shows where the Party Bus Value Stream fits within P1, which the P1 Materiel Leader leads as part of the AFLCMC/HNCX branch under AFMC.

Platform Overview

The diagram below provides a high-level overview of the Party Bus platform and its core capabilities.

Integrations

Party Bus supports connections to external systems, including DoD services and approved commercial integrations.

Some integrations require external approvals (for example, DISA whitelisting for DoDIN IAP or BCAP), which can extend implementation timelines. Existing integrations with platforms such as Envision, ADVANA, and UDL can often be leveraged more quickly.

If your application requires an integration that is not currently available, contact the MDO team to discuss available options and implementation timelines.
